To participate in this service you must be in good standing with Logue Library, without any overdue or lost items.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to include in my request?

Requests should have citations that are as complete as possible.

CHC students, faculty and staff should use their Chestnut Hill College email address as the contact for themselves.

How long will it take?

Normal delivery time for books can take up to and around 14 business days. Articles are almost always emailed, so they usually arrive within 2-3 days.

Is there a cost?

This is a free service for CHC students, faculty, staff, and the Sisters of Saint Joseph. One exception to this is if we cannot find a lending library that doesn’t charge we will ask you in advance if you are willing to pay any fees to obtain it. We will also ask in advance if any international postage fees would be needed .

Is there a fine for overdue books?

No, there are no fines. But please return your ILL materials before or on their due dates to the library front desk. There will be charges accessed if books are lost or damaged.

May I order a video, DVD or tape through ILL?

Logue Library will order these.
