General Dictionaries Online

Quick Tip!
Find a definition using Google.  Type: definition: child abuse  (for example) and find definitions from several points of view, like how it is defined legally, in social work, in psychology, in medicine.  If you type the phrase without the word “definition” in front, you will also get a definition, but the results might be a little different. Try both!
