Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to include in my request?

Requests must include complete citations – no abbreviations.

How long will it take?

Normal delivery time for books can take up to and around 14 business days. Articles are almost always emailed, so they usually arrive within 2-3 days.

Is there a cost?

This is a FREE service for CHC students, faculty, staff, and SSJ! One exception to this is if we cannot find a lending library that doesn’t charge – then it would be your responsibility to pay, but we will ask you if you are willing to pay first. Also, if you need something rushed, you will have to pay the rush shipping (also worked out beforehand).

Is there a fine for overdue books?

$1.00 each day will be charged for overdue interlibrary loan books. Return your ILL books before or on their due dates to the library front desk.

May I order a video through ILL?

Logue Library will not order AV materials (videos, tapes, etc). Contact your public library.
