Circulation Services

Borrowing Books

Patrons must present a valid I.D. card. Books are charged out and returned to the Circulation Desk.

Renewing Books

Books, except Reference books, can circulate for a three-week period. They may be renewed if there is no previous request for them. The book will then be held at the Circulation Desk for three days.

Reserve Material

Materials placed on reserve by faculty members are so indicated in the automated catalog. Reserve materials are used in the Library for a period of one hour.

Unless a faculty member stipulates otherwise, a student may borrow reserve materials overnight. No more than 2 reserve items per student may be taken overnight.

Commuters may pick up overnight reserve materials as early as 4:30 p.m. Residents may call for overnight items as early as 9:30 p.m.

Overnight reserves must be returned the next day no later than 9:00 a.m. A fine of up to $2.00 per day will be charged for each item if late. Materials taken overnight on Friday must be returned by Noon on Sunday.
